Overview

A dream trek route for those who like to explore mid-hills and high-altitude lakes in Nepal is the Langtang Gosaikunda trek. This trail is breathtakingly gorgeous. Every year, hundreds of travelers from both domestic and foreign countries trek to the revered Gosaikunda Lake.

In particular, the lake is visited for sacred purposes by practitioners of Buddhism and Hinduism. While others travel there to see the natural wonders. The Langtang Gosaikunda trek can be an ideal first trek for you if you are a beginner. This trek is suitable for someone with a good physical condition and a strong enthusiasm for trekking, as it is moderate in difficulty.

The Langtang Gosaikunda trek takes sixteen days to complete. Kathmandu is where the hike starts. We will take a car from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi, which is located in Nepal’s Rasuwa district. You will arrive at Gosaikunda Lake after we pass across the Lauribena Pass, Kyanjin Gompa, and the Langtang Valley.

From there, you will take the Chisapani Gosaikunda route back to Kathmandu. Upon arriving in Sundarijal, you will take a car back to Kathmandu.

Beautiful Tamang villages and breathtaking natural scenery, such as woods, rivers, waterfalls, streams, the Himalayas, and multiple lakes, including Gosaikunda Lake itself, can be seen when hiking the Langtang Gosaikunda trek.

Along with its beauty, Shin Gompa and other Buddhist monasteries are major draws for hikers. As you pass by the picturesque towns and Buddhist shrines, you will see the vibrant prayer flags that are hanging. Mani walls, large boulders painted with Buddhist mantras, are a sight, much like the Everest base camp climb.

Your arrival is expected at Langtang Gosaikunda. You should start preparing for the expedition as soon as possible if you have a holiday approaching. We are available to assist you if needed. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
