After check-in, take some time to relax before meeting your guide for a detailed briefing about your upcoming Everest Three Passes trek. In the evening, enjoy strolling through the lively streets and bustling markets of Thamel.

Enjoy breakfast around 7 AM before heading to the Domestic Terminal of Tribhuvan International Airport for your scenic flight to Lukla. The 35-minute journey from Kathmandu or Ramechhap to Lukla provides stunning aerial views of mountain ranges and diverse landscapes.

Lukla, situated at 2,840 meters in the Khumbu region, is famously known as the gateway to Everest trekking adventures.

Upon landing at Tenzing-Hillary Airport, begin your Everest Three Passes Trek. The trail from Lukla to Phakding starts with a gentle descent through charming villages like Chheplung, Nachipang, and Koshi Gaun, eventually reaching Ghat (2,530 m). The route offers captivating views of distant mountains and picturesque landscapes. Follow the serene path alongside the Dudh Koshi River to arrive at Phakding.

Note: In case of adverse weather, direct flights to Lukla may be unavailable. If this occurs, a 5–6-hour drive to Ramechhap is necessary, followed by a flight from Manthali Airport to Lukla.

Begin your day around 7 AM with a hearty breakfast in Phakding. After your meal, the trek resumes with a crossing of the Phakding suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. The scenic route winds through lush pine and hemlock forests, passing charming Sherpa villages like Toktok and Benkar before reaching Monjo (2,835 m), the gateway to Sagarmatha National Park, where your trekking permits are checked.

From Monjo, the trail continues along the Dudh Koshi River, leading to Jorsale (2,775 m) through dense forests. The adventure heightens as you cross the iconic Hilary Bridge before tackling the uphill ascent to reach Namche Bazaar.

Today’s agenda focuses on acclimatization in Namche Bazaar, a critical measure to mitigate the risk of altitude sickness. As the largest settlement in the Everest region, Namche serves as an optimal base for this adjustment while trekking. At an elevation of 3,500 meters, the town offers a variety of amenities, including restaurants, cafes, local shops, bakeries, and pubs, creating a conducive environment for relaxation. Following breakfast around 8 AM, embark on a scenic two-hour hike to the esteemed Hotel Everest View, which sits at an altitude of 3,962 meters. This vantage point provides exceptional views of some of the world’s most significant peaks, including Mt. Everest (8,848.86m), Ama Dablam (6,812m), Lhotse (8,516m), among other remarkable mountains. After savoring the breathtaking vistas, return to Namche for a substantial lunch. In the afternoon, take the opportunity to explore the Sherpa Cultural Museum, visit the Namche Monastery, and enjoy a leisurely walk through the lively local streets.

The hike to Tengboche starts at 7 AM with an early breakfast. The trail passes through quaint communities like Sanasa (3,600m) and Tashinga (3,540m), alternating between flat terrain and uphill hills. Before descending to Phungi Thenga (3,250m) and over a suspension bridge, take in the breathtaking natural surroundings as you go. The route then climbs gradually in the direction of Tengboche (3,867m), where a delicious meal is in store.

Visit the famous Tengboche Monastery, the biggest in the Khumbu region, after lunch. Spend some time exploring the nearby village and interacting with the residents to learn more about their way of life and culture.

The trip starts after breakfast. Pangboche is reached by trekking a somewhat level path that crosses the Imja Khola Suspension Bridge. After taking in the majestic Ama Dablam Peak (6812m) and the neighboring peaks, proceed toward Shomare along the rocky path that runs alongside the Imja Khola. Reaching the high-altitude community of Dingboche, which is encircled by stone walls that shield crops from animals and the wind, requires navigating a few chortens along the route.

It is essential to acclimate your body to the rising altitude. Take a morning stroll in the direction of Dingboche View Point as part of your second acclimatization phase of your three passes trek. Beautiful views of Ama Dablam (6812m), Thamserku (6608m), Lobuche East (6119m), Lobuche West (6145m), and other peaks can be seen throughout the two to three hour climb.

After you get back, have lunch and use the rest of your day to see Dingboche's Buddhist stupas. Explore this final Sherpa village in the Khumbu region and talk to the residents to find out more about their way of life and culture.

To start the trip to Chhukung, get up at around seven in the morning and prepare your breakfast. The hiking track winds through the harsh, high-altitude landscape of the Imja Khoja valley. Enjoy breathtaking views of Lhotse (8516m) and Ama Dablam (6812m) on both sides as you climb along the river. The lovely settlement of Chhukung, which is tucked away on the flank of Chhukung Ri (5546m), is reached after a three to four-hour walk. Explore this peaceful village during the day and savor your lunch against the stunning mountain backdrop.

The Everest Three Passes trip's highest pass is what you'll be climbing today. Set out early, at five in the morning, to climb the difficult Khong Ma La Pass. After an hour of hiking, start with an upward track before dawn and take in the breathtaking sunrise. Savor your packed breakfast while taking in the breathtaking mountain views from the route.

Kongma La Pass, which gives breathtaking views of mountain peaks including Mt. Everest (8848.86m), Nuptse (7861m), Cho Oyu (8188m), Pumori (7161m), Island Peak (6189m), Ama Dablam (6812m), and many more, may be reached after 5–6 hours of trekking. Before you head down into the Lobuche, take your time exploring the tranquil Khong Ma la Pass Lake and taking pictures. Another two to three hours are needed for the descent to Lobuche.

Start early with breakfast at around 6 AM, just like you would on any other day. The journey starts by following the path to Gorakshep along the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. Surrounded by spectacular peaks and breathtaking natural beauty, this little village serves as the last halt before arriving at Everest Base Camp.

Leave your bulkier stuff behind when you reach Gorakshep and go on your climb to Everest Base Camp. The Everest Base Camp, encircled by majestic mountain peaks such as Mt. Everest (8848.86m), Lhotse (8516m), Lopuche Peak (6119m), Nuptse (7861m), Pumo Ri (7161m), and others, is reached after a two to three-hour hike via the glacier and moraines.

Take in the life-changing experiences at Everest Base Camp before returning the same route to Gorakshep for the night.5

Get up early for a climb to Kala Patthar at around five in the morning. After breakfast, start your journey up the climbing path, which will take you around two hours to reach the 5600 meter high summit of Kala Patthar. Admire the magnificent vistas of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Khumbu glacier, EBC, and numerous more locations from the summit.

Once you've taken in the scenery, head back to Kala Patthar and resume your journey by following the trail to Lobuche, where you'll have lunch. The trail then passes by the stunning Chola Lake on its way to Dzongla. Before climbing across the rocky terrain to reach Dzongla, take a moment to photograph the Lake's gorgeous surroundings.

Crossing the difficult Chola Pass today is the most difficult yet rewarding day of the Three Passes Trek. This can be achieved by starting early, around 5 AM, with breakfast, and then following the climbing track, which is more challenging due to loose rocks. Chola Pass rewards you with breathtaking mountain views after a 5- to 6-hour arduous ascent. Take pictures and savor your packed lunch while the prayer flags fly in the breeze.

It takes about two to three hours to travel from the pass to Gokyo Valley, where the trail drops and crosses the glacier.

Take advantage of your acclimatization day to explore the picturesque Gokyo Valley. After breakfast in the morning, start hiking in the direction of Gokyo Ri (5357m). Gokyo Ri, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain peaks and Gokyo lakes, is reached after a two-hour journey up the climbing trail.

After lunch, head back to Gokyo to explore the valley and more immaculate lakes in the afternoon.

To master the final pass of this three-pass journey, get up early, around six in the morning. Following breakfast, the hike continues along the Gokyo Lake trail. The Renjo La Pass, which offers a 360-degree vista of Mt. Cho Oyu (8188m) and other nearby peaks, is reached after a 3–4 hour ascent.

Once you've had a chance to enjoy the natural surroundings, proceed down the trail in the direction of Lungden. After two to three hours of descent, you will reach the quaint village and have lunch there. Take the day to explore the village and unwind.

The Everest Three Passes Trek path descends towards Thame (3800m) after an early breakfast at around 7 AM. The trail descends by several small Sherpa communities, including Dingjung, Tarngga, Chyanekpa, and Thyangmoche. Take in the breathtaking scenery and expansive views of the mountain tops as you travel.

After a delectable lunch at Thame, continue your journey by making your way gradually up towards Namche. Along the Namche, the trail winds through the pine and hemlock forests and through communities like Thamu and Phurte.

After breakfast at the hotel, depart the well-known Namche Bazaar at around seven in the morning. The famous Hilary Bridge is reached as the trail winds down through the woodland. After crossing the bridge, the level path continues through the Dudh Koshi Valley and leads to Monjo. A number of picturesque villages, including Benkar, Toktok, Phakding, Ghat, Koshigaun, and Chheplung, are traversed along the journey. While traveling through these communities, take advantage of the chance to become fully immersed in the customs and way of life of the residents.

Take a morning flight to Kathmandu, which will be a scenic journey that takes thirty-five minutes. Additionally, if there isn't a direct flight to Lukla during the main season, they will fly to Ramechhap and then take a shared jeep to Kathmandu. In addition, if the weather permits, the flight offers breathtaking views of the mountains you conquered and other regions of the two Himalayan ranges. Our agent will meet you when you arrive in Kathmandu and take you to your accommodation. The remainder of the day can be spent relaxing or exploring the bustling Thamel, which is brimming with stores selling handicrafts, trekking gear, souvenirs, and other items. Following a productive day and the achievement of the objectives set on the tour, an inviting farewell dinner with a Nepali course and cultural dance is arranged by Destination Guru this evening, after dinner you will get your successful trip achievement certificate and then back to the Hotel.
