The exciting and scenic flight to Lukla is the first leg of the Everest Base Camp Trek via Gokyo Lakes. We will start the official trek from Lukla and travel to Phakding. We will trek to Namche Bazaar from Phakding. We’re going to spend a day in Namche exploring and relaxing. Following a day of acclimatization, we will resume our hike towards Dole. Machhermo is the next location from Dole.

After departing from Machhermo, we will hike on to Gokyo. In Gokyo, it takes a day to become used to the climate. We shall next proceed to Thagnak. We will climb via the Cho La Pass to get to Dzongla from Thagnak. We will now take the Tengboche path, which leads to the traditional Everest Base Camp Trek. We have an amazing walk ahead of us to reach Everest Base Camp from Lobuche.

Although the trek to Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Lakes is difficult, the scenery is worth it. We will spend some time at base camp before making our way down to Gorakshep for the night. From here, we will walk to Kalapatthar and then descend to Pheriche. We’ll head down to Namche Bazaar after leaving Pheriche so we can relax. Then, we’ll take Phakding to descend to Lukla. Day 1 :

You can find our airport representative at Tribhuvan International Airport. He will greet you and drive you to the lodging. After completing the necessary procedures, you can change into your hotel room and relax.

If you'd like, you can stroll about the streets. Popular local marketplaces like Ason and Thamel provide reasonably priced local Nepalese goods like handmade items, hemp purses, and showpieces.
Looking around these markets is a visual feast. In Ason, there are additional stands selling spicy street cuisine. You might look at some more stores that sell clothing and presents.

Day 2 :

An exciting flight to Lukla starts the trek to Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Lakes. From the air, you may photograph the most breathtaking aerial view. You can see the porters and other team members waiting for you as we land in Lukla. We will begin our journey from Lukla and go to Phakding. The three-hour hike is not too long.

We'll walk down to the Dudh Koshi River after passing via Chaurikharka Village. We'll stroll to Phakding in a few minutes from here. You can spend the night here and explore the neighboring monasteries.

Day 3 :

Trek from Phakding (2,650m /8,562ft) to Namche Bazaar (3,440m / 11,285ft)

After a hearty breakfast, we'll resume our hike to Namche Bazaar. The trail follows the bank of the Dudh Koshi River. From here, we will be able to see a broad panorama of mountains covered with snow. The Hillary Suspension Bridge is only one of the numerous long and short suspension bridges that we will travel over rivers.

After that, we will register at Sagarmatha National Park with our tickets and permits. We will ascend to a forest from this point, providing you with a view of Mount Everest. After that, a short hike will bring you to Namche Bazaar. Spend the night in a Namche hotel.

Day 4 :

Rest day and acclimatization at Namche Bazaar

We will spend a day in Namche to explore the region and recharge our bodies before engaging in strenuous hiking. We will climb to the Everest View Hotel in the early morning, where there is a great view of Mount Everest while dining.

After that, we'll walk down the trail and discover Namche Bazaar. We are going to start our exploration of the area by going to different Buddhist monasteries.

After that, we will go to the Hillary School and the yak farms to learn more about the Sherpa way of life in the area. As the region's primary trading hub, Namche Bazaar offers a wide range of services and goods. The cafes and restaurants are great places to spend an evening. Spend the night at Namche.

Day 5 :

Trek from Namche (3,440m / 11,285ft) to Dole (4,200m / 13,270ft)

We will resume our hike to Dole after breakfast. This is the turning point in the road, where we will go to Dole rather than Tengboche. The path is fairly rocky and uneven here. After going through numerous ups and downs, we will arrive at Mong La Pass (3957m). You can see Ama Dablam and Mt. Khumbila clearly from the pass.

From here, the trail descends through forests of pine and rhododendron. We are going to get to Phortse Tenga after navigating the wilderness. From here on out, the walk will take us to Dole. Spend the night in Dole.

Day 6 :

Trek from Dole (4,200m / 13,270ft) to Machhermo (4,470m / 14,450ft)

After leaving Dole, the track heads towards Machhermo. As we ascend higher, we'll be treated to even more breathtaking vistas. The meadows and yak pastures are seen. In the summer, this location is even more stunning. We are treated to a broad panorama of Mt. Cho Oyu as we rise. We'll arrive to the settlement of Lapahrma. We get more vistas of the Himalayas as we trek farther into the valley.

Luja settlement is reached by the trail. From here on out, the journey will take us to Machhermo. Spend the night in Machhermo.

Day 7 :

Trek from Machhermo (4,470m / 14,450ft) to Gokyo (4,790m / 15,584ft)

We will be traveling to Gokyo, one of the trek's most rewarding locations, after breakfast. We still have a little hike to go. It takes an hour to get to the grazing grounds on the walk. We'll arrive in Phanga after passing through the grazing lands. We'll travel down the tiny trail from here to get to Gokyo.

From this point on, the Gokyo Lakes' outflows will become visible. After this quick hike, we have plenty of time to explore the surrounding lakes. Spend the night in Gokyo.

Day 8 :

Rest day to acclimatize at Gokyo. Gokyo Ri viewpoint (5,400m / 17,814ft)

It goes without saying that we will need a day to get used to this stunning location. We'll investigate the Gokyo Valley in detail. Day 9 :

We shall travel on from Gokyo in the direction of Thagnak. There are a lot of ups and downs on today's pathways, which could be difficult for you. Day 10 :

Following breakfast, we will resume our hike in the direction of Dzongla. We will get out early in the morning to finish the lengthy walk. There are rocky sections of the trail. We will hike downhill from here, giving you an amazing vista. After a strenuous day of hiking, we will finally arrive in Dzongla. We are going to stay the night at Dzongla.

Day 11 :

We have a quick hike to finish today. We're going to leave Dzongla and go toward Louche. We can see Mount Everest more clearly as we approach Lobuche. The trail follows the moraine as it descends to Cho La Lake. We travel alongside the Khumbu Glacier. The Lobuche allows us to follow the traditional Everest route. The tributes for the climbers who lost their lives while ascending Mount Everest are seen.

We go via Imja Khola on our way. After a stunning journey, we will eventually arrive at Lobuche, which puts us quite near to Mount Everest. Spend the night at Lobuche.

Day 12 :

Trek from Lobuche (4,930m / 16,175ft) to Everest Base Camp (5,364m / 17,598ft) and back to Gorak Shep (5,185m / 17,010ft)

We're going to climb up to Kala Patthar early in the morning to see the breathtaking dawn. You can see the most beautiful sunrise over Mount Everest from Kalapatthar. Following our time spent admiring the sunrise, we will make our way back to Kala Patthar for breakfast.

Following breakfast, we will take a little break before returning to Gorak Shep by the same path. Our hike takes us to Pheriche from Gorak Shep. Spend the night in Pheriche.

Day 14 :

In Namche, you can unwind while dining at the neighboring eateries and drinking in the bars. Spend the night at Namche.

Our path also passes through several small settlements. We are going to travel through the Dudh Koshi Valley. After hiking for six to seven hours, we will finally arrive at Lukla.

It's going to be your last visit to the Khumbu area. Spend the night at Lukla.
